Consultant, ESG – Ottawa (ESG09-09)  

Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) has an exceptional professional opportunity for a Consultant focusing on enterprise business solutions for our clients.  Based out of our regional office in Ottawa, you will focus primarily on Enterprise consulting projects.

Consultant responsibilities include:

·         Providing technical expertise in development and implementation of the client solutions.

·       Work closely with the project team to assist in the development of consulting services' opportunities including the development of solution concepts and proposals and negotiating with clients with respect to project scope, deliverables, timelines, resources and acceptance 

Specific skill requirements:

·         2 to 3 years experience with GIS and/or IT applications including application development

·         Proven knowledge and experience as a Consultant in GIS and/or IT projects.

·         Experience with the following technologies: VB.NET, C# or  JavaScript.

·         Experience with: AJAX, REST (Flex or Silverlight), and SOAP Web services

·         Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle or SQLServer)

·         Experience developing in a COM environment

·         University degree in computer science, engineering, math, GIS or equivalent education and experience
